In many separate revelations ( each of which set forth a portion of the truth) and in different ways God spoke of old to (our) forefathers in and by the prophet.
But in the last of these days he has spoken to us in ( the person of a ) son, whom he appointed heir and lawful owner of all things, also by and through whom he created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time ( He made, produced built, operated, and arranged them in order)
Heb1:1-2
In the old testament, we see how God spoke through prophets to the forefathers. we also see clearly that at beat, what the prophet had were portions of the truth. This shows their limitations. They could not explain fully what they were speaking. Hence, God was termed a killer in the old testament, he was seen as sovereign one who killeth and maketh alive. Every supernatural act as attributed to him. Interestingly, in the new testament, we find "a different God", one who is so loving He gave up his son for the same race.
Did he change?
No a thousand times no! he is God, he changes not!
so what then? how do you know him?
