GIVING IS IN YOUR NATURE

BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38).

ALL ABOUT CHRISTMAS

God in a Manger

Christmas is not about the Savior's infancy; it is about His deity. The humble birth of Jesus Christ was never intended to conceal the reality that God was being born into the world.
But the modern world's version of Christmas does just that. And consequently for the greater part of humanity, Christmas has no legitimate meaning at all.

5 ways to go from sickness to health

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee (Proverbs 4:20-24).
This passage of Scripture reveals God’s prescription for life and health. It contains instructions that, if properly followed, can literally change your life and your physical condition from sickness to health.
So, let’s look closely at what God is saying.

SUPERNATURAL FORGETFULNESS

By Kenneth Copeland
One afternoon several years ago, I was in a hotel room preparing to preach a message. As I was studying, I stopped for a moment to pray in the spirit. When I did, I had a vision.
I saw a 6-inch pipe suspended about 18 inches away from my face and angled up at about 45 degrees. It was like looking up through a telescope. I could see into one end of the pipe, but it was clogged and dark.

LOVE CAN MAKE A HELL OF HEAVEN

When you lack interest in everything. You just sip and sleep. With dimmed lights, you will dream bright and with closed eyes, you will see stars.
People are constantly trying to influence us, to tell us what to do, and just as often, we tune them out, resisting their attempts at persuasion. There is a moment in our lives, however, when we all act differently...when we are in love.

5 TIPS TO GET THINGS DONE FAST

1 Decide & Write
As I said earlier, whatever you write down is more likely to happen than whatever you just store up in your head. Take out a pen and paper and write down the top 3-5 goals. What are the things you really want to bring about in your life whether it’s professionally, physically, romantically, personally, spiritually, intellectually, etc. You can plan for success in any area of your life. But it’s important to be clear about what you want and even more importantly, why you want what you want.
Keep this page in your planner to refer to whenever you need a bit of a boost when you ask yourself, “What’s the point of all this again?” Now, let’s start planning your life.

CHANGE YOUR WORLD

Sometimes life must not be perfect for you to dream, you are so free to dream and expect nothing less. You need to be grateful and then you will realize that the way you think will change. When I come face to face with my problems I try not to think of the problem but I think of the solution to the problem. Nobody is saying you will be loved by everyone to become great, the truth is if everybody loves you in this world then something must be really wrong with you.

NAKED

There is a saying that a true friend is one who sees you naked and still desires to be with you. Hope you don’t mind me asking, but can I be NAKED with you? Oh please, don’t entertain a thought of “perversity” towards me. By the term NAKED, I literally don’t mean the stripping off of our woolen garments and exposing all our curves and contours, bruises and scars, biceps and triceps, stretch marks and birth marks and other bodily endowments that others might or might not be interested in. I just mean can I be real!!! - it’s not an assessment of physical nudity but a perception of inner/emotional nakedness.

SET A HIGH STANDARD

Sometimes in life we have to be able to dream really big, think of doing something really greater than you ever imagined. your dreams are real, you just have to keep dreaming. A wise man once told me that ' you don't try to compete with others but yourself'. This is one of my rule, that is why I don't even try to admire anybody. You need to set your standards high for yourself, remember you are competing with yourself only.

8 PUBLIC SPEAKING TIPS

1. What was I really afraid of?

Many people have stage fright, but in order to learn how to cope with it, you need to find out exactly what you are afraid of. Some are afraid that they will embarrass themselves, whereas some think they will be rejected by the audience. This all leads to sweating, forgetting your lines and being unable to speak fluently.

ARE YOU IMPORTANT?

When was the last time you did exactly what it was that you wanted to do without making any compromises? Do you find yourself saying ‘Yes’ to others’  requests a lot more often than saying ‘No’? What about that friend that you  have that only calls to tell you about what they need your help with and interrupts you whenever it’s clearly your turn to vent? Do you ever feel like you are giving too much and have little left over for yourself?

20 WAYS TO MAKE THIS MONTH MORE AWESOME

1. Clean Out Your Closet / Any Area of Your Life - Clutter and disorganization are the devil. Holding onto things you don’t need or use only takes up space that can be used for things you will love and inhibits your freedom. When your surroundings are messy and your items don’t have a home, you’ll waste a lot of time looking for things, time that can be better spent not stressing over that search. If you haven’t gotten around to “spring cleaning”, now’s the time. If you “don’t have the time” at least take 10-15 minutes to go through your wardrobe and pull out things that you haven’t worn/don’t need and set it aside to give away or toss. On the other side if you find something you haven’t worn but “Love!” and “OMG! Totally forgot I had this!” place it up front in your closet and resolve to wear it at least once this month or out it goes! Taking a quick look through your closet every so often will refresh your memory about what you own and end up saving you money that you might have spend purchasing something really similar.

It's the Heart that Matters

All of us have areas where we struggle. We all make mistakes and do things that we know we shouldn't. We tell ourselves that we aren't going to give in to that temptation anymore, but we do it again. Or, we lose our temper or compromise in some way. It's easy to go around feeling guilty and condemned. Your mind will whisper, "God's never going to bless you. You can't get it right. You don't deserve it. Just sit on the sidelines." We think we have to have a perfect performance in order for God to bless us. We think, "Once I overcome in these areas, then I'll have God's favor. Then I'll feel good about myself." But Scripture says, "God searches the earth to show Himself strong in people whose hearts are turned perfect toward Him."

IF GOD BRING YOU TO IT, HE WILL TAKE YOU THROUGH IT

Everybody are always worried about what to do, what not to do, what to say, what not to say. But there is always that one person that will always be there no matter the obstacle, and that person is the holy spirit. Jesus said that he would send us the holy spirit who would be our counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengthener and standby that would be with us forever.  we just need to keep building up our faith,  no matter where we are the same God that brought us to it will bring us through it.
